Mounira Habli, M.D.

Dr. Mounira Habli specializes in maternal-fetal medicine. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Habli is currently affiliated with Tri-State Maternal-Fetal Medicine Associates, Inc. as well as a staff physician at the Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati which is a collaboration of physicians and services from Good Samaritan Hospital, the University of Cincinnati Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center providing comprehensive maternal fetal health services for high-risk patients.

Dr. Habli earned her medical degree at the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon in 1998. She performed four years of Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon from 1998 to 2002. In 2002 Dr. Habli moved to the United States and due to requirements of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, again performed here first and second year of Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia in June 2002 to June 2004 and her third and fourth years at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, June 2004 to 2006. Dr. Habli performed her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati June 2006 to June 2009 as well as earning her Masters of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Cincinnati, June 2008 to June 2009.

Dr. Habli is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Cincinnati OB/Gyn Society, the Ohio State Medical Association and several other clinical and basic science research societies.

Dr. Habli has gained several awards including National Institute of Health (NIH) young investigator awards, best teaching resident and several other scholarships. Dr. Habli has been invited as guest speaker in several national and international high risk pregnancy conferences, including the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine Annual Meetings.

Dr. Habli is well published and involved in several research projects with residents as well as multicenter studies. Her interest is fetal medical and surgical therapy (such as laser for Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome), gene therapy, fetal growth restriction, congenital malformation, multiple gestational and fetal ultrasound.
