
Dr. Polzin specializes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Polzin is the Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Polzin earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1983. A 14 year veteran of the U.S. Army, he performed his internship, residency and fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington and served in Wuerzburg, Germany and Honolulu, Hawaii prior to coming to Cincinnati.
Dr. Polzin holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Ohio State Medical Association, the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine and the Cincinnati Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. He is a founding collaborator and Associate Medical Director of the Fetal Care Center of Cincinnati. He is Secretary/Treasurer of the North American Fetal Therapy Network (NAFTNet) and volunteers as the Medical Director of Healthy Beginnings, Inc., a 501(c)3 serving underinsured women needing prenatal care in Cincinnati. |
